Keynote Format
- - Keynote talks will be approximately 13 minutes 20 seconds (with roughly 40 slides of 20 seconds each or 20 slides of 40 seconds each if a PowerPoint presentation is used)
- - Keynotes will be opened to a Q&A with the audience as well as seeding questions from pre-conference online discussions.
- - There might be a short presentation or video also incorporated to which the speaker can respond (these will be cleared with the keynote speakers beforehand).
- - Opening keynotes should be inspirational and serve as a survey of the main issues and a catalyst to launch into the event.
- - Closing keynotes should be inspirational and critical and serve as a summary or highlights of some of the main issues brought out during the conference.
Panel Presentation Format
- - Panel talks will be 1 hour long in total.
- - There will be from 2 to 4 panelists on each panel.
- - Each panelist is given approximately 6 minutes 40 seconds (please refer to Pecha Kucha style).
- - If a Power Point presentation is used, it should be close to the Pecha Kucha format in terms of number of slides (20 slides, 20 seconds each).
- - Between panelists, there might be short presentations or videos incorporated (this will be communicated to the panelists beforehand).
- - After the panelists have all spoken, panels will be opened to Q&A with the audience as well as seeding questions from pre-conference online discussions.
- - If any additional technological equipment is needed for your presentation, please contact Fadi@4SITEforum.com.
Moderation Format
- - Moderators will be responsible for introducing and closing panels.
- - A panel is about 1 hour long and there will be from 2 to 4 panelists on each panel.
- - Moderators will also help transition between panelists and incorporate any of the selected presentations and videos (these will be confirmed beforehand with the moderators and panelists)
- - Moderators will facilitate Q&A with the audience and will seed questions from pre-conference online discussions.
Workshop Format
- - Workshops will run for 1 hour in total.
- - Workshops will be held by 1 to 2 facilitators.
- - The actual format of the workshop is to be agreed upon between the facilitators and the event organizers.
- - Workshops can include PowerPoint presentations but should be as interactive as possible and include discussions and activities with the participants.
- - Workshops are oriented towards imparting practical skills or tools.

Follow-Up
The following should be submitted to Olivia at Olivia@4SITEforum and Fadi at Fadi@4SITEforum.com by November 6th:
- - Keynote: an outline of the presentation
- - Panel Presentation: a sample of PowerPoint slides or an outline of the presentation
- - Moderation: an outline of the introduction and closing to the panel along with a few sample questions
- - Workshop: an outline of the workshop
We will use this information to make sure the talks are placed appropriately within the program, as well as to prepare other panelists and moderators. We will work with you to integrate the different panel presentations, the pre-conference online discussions, and any additional presentations and videos submitted by general participants, in addition to encouraging your inner creativity!
Speakers will receive follow-up calls a week before the conference to check in and help them prepare their presentations, along with an email with conference information.
